I make a point of buying American Apparel for my kids. Their clothes come in great colors & are incredibly sturdy. They hold up to many washes, remain soft & comfortable & the colors stay fresh looking. I love them!

When shopping for clothing for our infant son, we had been awfully frustrated with the limited choices. We feel that the perceived need to color code our children by gender shouldn't be a bar to good taste or good design at affordable prices, and it surprised us that none of the big companies were marketing infant clothing in the full range of true colors, the only options seemed to be pastel pink or pastel blue or an occasional cautious green or soft yellow.
